Hot rolled coil and hot rolled sheet are usually selected for general fabrication, machinery, welded assemblies, tanks, base plates and construction-related parts where a black or pickled surface is acceptable.
Common RFQs include S235JR, S275JR, S355JR, DD11-DD14 or ASTM sheet grades. Review hot rolled steel coil, hot rolled steel sheet and the broader hot rolled steel route when the requirement is already specific.
Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) & Cold Rolled Sheet
Cold rolled steel sheet and coil are used when smoother surface, tighter thickness control and forming behavior matter more than the lower cost of black hot rolled steel.

Stainless Steel Sheet, Plate & Coil
Stainless steel Turkey inquiries are usually driven by grade, finish and corrosion environment. SteelFromTurkey can review stainless sheet, plate and coil RFQs for 304/304L, 316/316L, 430 and other confirmed grades under ASTM A240, ASTM A480 and EN 10088.

Galvanized & Coated Steel Sheet
Galvanized steel sheet supplier RFQs should define the base steel grade and the coating requirement, not only the word galvanized. Under EN 10346, common coating references include Z, ZF, ZA, AZ and ZM. Under ASTM A653, buyers may use G30, G60 or G90 coating language.

Steel products from Turkey questions
What is the difference between hot rolled and cold rolled steel?
Hot rolled steel is processed at high temperatures and is available in thicker gauges with a mill scale surface unless pickled. Cold rolled steel is further processed at room temperature, producing tighter tolerances, a smoother finish and thinner gauges.
What is the difference between steel sheet, plate and coil?
Coil is the continuous rolled form, sheet is coil cut to fixed lengths, and plate is the heavier flat form usually selected above roughly 6 mm for structural and heavy fabrication work. The form decides the tolerance standard, the packing format and which page owns the specification.
Which product family should I choose for corrosive or outdoor conditions?
Stainless flat products are selected when the service environment requires corrosion resistance in the base material; galvanized and coated sheet are selected when a coated carbon steel is sufficient. State the environment, expected service life and any painting or forming step in the RFQ so the family can be confirmed.
How do I get stainless steel sheet pricing?
Submit an RFQ with grade, such as 304, 316L or 430, plus thickness, width, quantity, surface finish, protective film need and delivery location. Prices depend on grade, finish, quantity and Incoterms.
Can I request more than one product family in a single RFQ?
Yes. List each item separately with its own grade, dimensions and quantity in one inquiry. Mixed hot rolled, cold rolled, stainless, coated and aluminium lines can be reviewed together.
