SteelFromTurkey's role covers order review, MTC verification, incoming inspection and export documentation: confirming that the selected Turkish mill, material documents, markings and shipment package match the buyer's order.
Steel grade, heat number, standard, test results, dimensions and quantity are checked against the purchase order before export documents are finalized.
MTC type, third-party inspection, NDT, dimensional tolerances and packing requirements must be defined before quotation so the right supply route is selected.
Certifications
This ISO 9001:2015 certification is held by Ram Sac Metal Kalıp Fikstür San ve Tic Ltd Şti, the registered legal entity operating the SteelFromTurkey brand for export sales, order review and quality coordination. The website operator, the contracting and invoicing seller and the holder of the certificate shown here are the same legal entity, so the certificate covers the quality management system under which all SteelFromTurkey export operations are conducted. The certification runs on a 3-year cycle with annual surveillance audits. Re-certification date: May 2028.
Partner mills are separately checked for product-level certifications and accreditations such as CE marking for structural-grade steel plate under EN 1090, TSE approval and ISO management systems. Mill certificates are verified during supplier qualification and re-confirmed at order level.

MTC
A mill test certificate is the official document issued by the steel manufacturer confirming that the supplied material complies with the ordered specification. Mill test certificates are issued by the certified mill for each production heat; SteelFromTurkey requests, collects, cross-checks and delivers verified MTCs to the buyer before shipment.
MTC verification checks the steel grade and standard, chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat number, dimensions, quantity and required test results against the original order specification.

Steel quality for a B2B supplier depends on process discipline. Our workflow applies the same control points whether the order is hot rolled coil, steel plate, stainless sheet or a mixed shipment.
Incoming inspection covers document matching, marking verification, quantity confirmation and visual surface checks. Dimensional checks are performed or verified where the product standard and order tolerance require them.

Traceability
Every shipment is prepared with a document package aligned with the buyer's RFQ and destination requirements. Heat numbers on the product marking are matched against the MTC so material can be traced back to the production batch.
Digital copies are retained for documentation retrieval after shipment. Original MTCs and inspection certificates are provided with the cargo or sent separately when the purchase order requires it.

We qualify mills based on certification status, production capability and past performance. Every order includes EN 10204 mill test certificate review, incoming material inspection and optional third-party inspection through SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV or buyer-nominated agencies.
Yes. Buyers can nominate their own inspection agency or use our coordination with SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV or Lloyd's Register. Inspection can take place at the mill before dispatch or at the warehouse before export shipment.
Partner mills apply in-line thickness, width and flatness gauging plus surface inspection during the hot rolled and cold rolled production process, in line with the applicable product standard. These in-process checks are followed by our incoming inspection and MTC verification before shipment.
EN 10204 3.2 certificates are issued by an independent inspection body, not by the mill or supplier. SteelFromTurkey coordinates 3.2 inspection upon request for critical applications. Standard orders normally include EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates.
Standard documentation includes mill test certificate, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and weight certificate. Additional documents such as third-party inspection reports, fumigation certificates and insurance certificates are available upon request.
Mill test certificates are commonly required by project specifications, standards and customs processes for steel products. We include EN 10204 3.1 MTCs as standard to support customs clearance, buyer approval and project documentation.
